Joyce (Boyd) Barnes

Joyce passed away October 13, 2010. Her husband, W. D. Barnes passed away November 20, 2012. Joyce and W.D. were married 52 years. They had three children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
After working in several different areas of the U.S. Joyce and W.D. settled in Port Lavaca in 1965, where they raised their children. They eventually moved to the Houston area where they remained until his retirement in 2000 and then relocated to Fort Worth to be near the children.
Joyce touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and her ability to never meet a stranger.
