Carol Jean is retired and enjoys playing bridge, dominos, gardening, and traveling.
Her favorite high school memories are band trips, going to Austin for a marching contest, and the bus broke down. They were the last band to march down Congress Avenue, but won and marched in Memorial Stadium the next year.
