Shirley and her husband, Don, are both retired. She has three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Shirley enjoys bowling, reading, shooting pool, travel, cards, and old movies.
Her favorite high school memories are band trips (especially Austin), the Point Comfort girls, and Sharon’s birthday party at Kamey.
