Patricia Lynn Hawes, 79, of Seadrift died Thursday morning, Aug. 29, 2019, in Port Lavaca.
She was born March 6, 1940, in Victoria and lived most of her life in Seadrift.
Patricia is survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Leslie & Janna Hawes of Somerset, TX; and by her good friend Tom Wheeler of Port Lavaca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, EC and Isabelle Hawes, and by her sister, Mary Pearl Hawes Dispanet.
Patricia attended Seadrift schools and was a graduate of Calhoun High School. She attended business college in Corpus Christi.
Patricia was retired, after working for many years as an administrative secretary at the Seadrift Schools. She was a member of Seadrift United Methodist Church.
For several years, Patricia and her mother, Isabelle stayed on and off with Leslie and Janna Hawes first in Raymondville and then in Somerset, where Janna served as pastor of the United Methodist Churches there.
Patricia was a cancer survivor for many years.
