Freda passed away June 16, 2010. She was married to Bobby Murlyn O’Briant.
Freda was an active member of her church and community. She loved cooking delicious meals and taking care of everyone. With boundless energy, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and was kind and generous to all. Her passions were visiting and fellowshipping with friends through conversation, music, and food, playing board games, reading, collecting cookbooks and dolls. She was the heart of all family gatherings. During her struggle with cancer, she was uplifted by the gospel music group who happily performed, offering her spiritual comfort. Her courage, strength, and faith carried her through her tireless fight with ovarian cancer. She was an inspiration to all.
