Emil Kurtz

Emil passed away June 25, 2008. He and his wife, Sylvia Sass Kurtz, had two sons. Emil was discharged from the US Army as a Sergeant of the 101st Airborne. He worked for Kingfisher marine in Port Lavaca for 47 years as the yard superintendent.
Emil belonged to the Knights of Columbus 3253 as a 4th-degree knight and Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. He enjoyed barbecuing for numerous organizations and being everyone’s friend.
