Bertha Ybarra Garcia, 77 passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014. She was born in Port Lavaca on February 10, 1937, to the late Julio and Elena Garza Ybarra.
Bertha was a director of the Headstart program, working with the program for 34 years in Victoria. She loved to garden, sew, embroidery, and play games with her sisters. She was married to Richard S. Garcia, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2007.
